Club Mark

In September 2009 Pocklington Tennis Club achieved Club Mark accreditation from the LTA, the governing body of British Tennis. This is a national scheme, embracing all sports, which is only awarded to Tennis Clubs that meet the LTA standards of Club Management, Organisation of Junior and Adult tennis playing programmes, and Arrangements for coaching.


Pocklington Tennis Club was established on the current site in 1921. The Club welcomes (new (and old) players of all ages and standards.


The Club has 6 all weather courts - 4 astroturf and 2 asphalt.
 
Regular club sessions are held for members of all levels.
In winter the sessions take place on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 10am.

The Club has 17 teams playing in four local leagues.

Wimbledon Tickets

Every affiliated UK Tennis Club receives a number of tickets based on the number of British Tennis Members. Core membership is free. Go to the Links page and visit the Lawn Tennis Association site.  

Pocklington Tennis Club automatically enters every club member into a draw to allocate the tickets for Wimbledon.
